Canberra painting services

What kind of painting work do we take on?

Anthony, known locally as Tony, and Tyson help homeowners, renovators, sellers and builders across Canberra with work where preparation, neat edges and a clean finish matter.

Heritage and restoration

Older Canberra homes and restoration-sensitive surfaces, where the wrong product costs more than the repaint did.

Pre-sale presentation

Painting to a sale campaign, scheduled around the photos, the opens and settlement rather than around us.

New builds

Bare substrate through to handover, with the finish checked against what the builder and the owner each expect to see.

Kitchens and bathrooms

Cabinetry, doors and wet-area walls, in systems that survive steam, splashes and a weekly wipe down.

Extensions and renovations

New work matched to old so the join does not announce itself, and the finish-up after the builders leave.

Look at the job

Tony or Tyson comes out, checks the surfaces, access and condition, and talks through what the job actually needs.

Quote it straight

You get a clear scope and price for the work that is worth doing. No padding and no upselling.

Paint it properly

Preparation first, tidy work while we are in the property, and a clean finish when we leave.

Who turns up to your job.

Anthony, known locally as Tony, and Tyson Farrington. Local painters who are careful with your property and straight about what is worth painting and what is not.

Tony’s father was a painter before him. Tyson is the third generation. We work out of Denman Prospect, across Canberra and the ACT.

You deal with the people doing the work, from the first inspection to the final coat.

What people usually want to know.

What kind of painting work do you take on?

Repaints, heritage and restoration work, renovation finish-up painting, pre-sale presentation work, and residential jobs that need a proper finish.

Do you work across Canberra suburbs?

Yes. Anthony and Tyson work across Canberra and nearby suburbs, with each job scoped based on the property, timing, and access.

Do you do commercial painting?

No. Tony and Tyson are residential painters and take houses only: new builds, repaints inside and out, kitchens and bathrooms, extensions and renovations, heritage restoration and pre-sale presentation. Commercial sites, strata and body-corporate common areas are not work they take on.

How much does house painting cost in Canberra?

Most jobs fall between $500 for a small single-room repaint and $50,000 or more for a large or heritage exterior. A full 3-bedroom interior is typically $6,000 to $12,000. See our house painting cost guide for the full breakdown.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. Our workmanship carries a five year warranty.

Do I need a licensed painter in the ACT?

No. Painting is not a licensed trade in the ACT. Ask for public liability insurance, an ABN and references instead. More on painter licensing in the ACT.

Can I request an inspection before committing?

Yes. Use the inspection request form with the suburb, scope, and timing, and we’ll come back with the right next step.

Tell us the suburb, scope, and timing.

We’ll review it and come back with the right next step.

Public liability details can be provided on request. Painting is not a licensed trade in the ACT, so that certificate is worth asking any painter for before work starts.
